This Privacy Policy explains what information Tactical Grooming collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our barbershop services, our product sales, our websites, and the customer programs we operate.
Issued by Nixon Solutions LLC, doing business as Tactical Grooming, 105 Church St, Suite E, Madison, AL 35758.
1. Scope
This policy is issued by Nixon Solutions LLC, doing business as Tactical Grooming, of 105 Church St, Suite E, Madison, AL 35758. In this policy, "we", "us" and "Tactical Grooming" mean that business.
It covers the following brands, properties and operations:

Tactical Grooming and Zero Hour Works are affiliated through common ownership. Where a Zero Hour Works system processes information on behalf of Tactical Grooming, this policy applies to that processing.
Some services we rely on are operated by other companies under their own privacy policies. Those are described in the section on third party services below.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run a barbershop, sell products and support customers. Depending on how you interact with us, that may include:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your telephone number, including your mobile number if you give it to us
- Your mailing or billing address, where a purchase requires it
- Appointment details, including date, time, service and barber
- Your service history and notes about previous work
- Your barber preferences
- Products you have purchased
- Transaction history
- Payment related information handled by our payment processor

- Your IP address
- Your browser type, device type and similar technical information
- Information from cookies and similar technologies, as described below
- Information we generate or receive for fraud prevention, security and diagnostics
We do not store complete payment card numbers. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, which handles the card details directly. We receive limited information such as the card brand, the last four digits, an authorisation result and a transaction reference.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Schedule, confirm, change and manage appointments
- Provide grooming services, including recording preferences so your next visit goes the way the last one did
- Process product orders and fulfil them
- Process payments, refunds and adjustments
- Provide customer support and answer questions
- Send transactional communications about bookings, orders and your account
- Send marketing communications, but only where we have the appropriate consent
- Operate loyalty, rewards, membership and referral programs
- Create and manage customer accounts and portal access
- Detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and misuse
- Keep our websites and systems secure, and diagnose problems
- Understand how our business is performing and improve what we offer
- Meet our legal, tax, accounting and recordkeeping obligations
4. How we share information
We share information with companies that provide services to us and act on our behalf. These are commonly called service providers or processors, and they are only permitted to use the information to provide the service we have asked for. They include:
- Website and application hosting providers
- Our payment processor
- Our booking and scheduling platform
- Our messaging providers, for email and text message delivery
- Analytics and performance monitoring providers
- Shipping and delivery providers, for product orders
- Security, backup and fraud prevention providers
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where reasonably necessary
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, in response to lawful requests by public authorities, to establish or defend legal claims, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our staff or the public.
If our business or part of it is ever sold, merged or reorganised, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction. We would remain bound by this policy until it is replaced with one you are told about.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Text messages and your consent records
If you sign up for text messages from Tactical Grooming, we keep a record of that consent. The record includes your mobile number in a standard format, which categories of message you agreed to, the exact wording of the disclosure shown to you, the version of that disclosure, the date and time in Coordinated Universal Time, where the sign up came from, and technical details such as the IP address and browser used to submit it.
We keep these records because carriers and regulators expect a business to be able to prove that a person agreed to receive messages before it sent any. Without that evidence we could not lawfully or responsibly send you anything.
Marketing messages are optional. Agreeing to receive them is never a condition of booking an appointment, buying a product, or receiving any service from us.
You can withdraw consent at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us to opt out. Reply HELP to any message for assistance. You can also call or email us using the contact details at the end of this policy.
Opting out of marketing messages does not prevent you from booking, buying or being served. It only stops the messages.
Service messages and marketing messages are recorded and managed as separate choices. Where our systems support it, you can stop one without stopping the other. A STOP reply sent to our messaging number stops all text messages from the program.
When you opt out, we keep a suppression record of that fact. That record exists specifically so that we do not message you again by mistake, and we keep it for that purpose even after other information is deleted.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Our public pages, including this one, are served as plain pages and do not set advertising or tracking cookies.
Where you sign in to a customer portal or use our booking system, a small number of cookies or similar technologies are used to keep you signed in, to keep your session secure, and to remember choices such as a form in progress. These are necessary for the service to work.
Our web servers keep standard request logs, which record the requesting IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser user agent. These logs exist to keep the service running and secure.
We do not currently operate a cookie consent banner or a cookie preference centre. If we introduce one, this section will be updated before it goes live.
7. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the size of our business and the sensitivity of the information. These include encrypted connections for our websites, restricted access to customer records, separate accounts for staff, and logging of administrative actions.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will act on it and notify you where the law requires.
8. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes described in this policy, and then for as long as we are required to keep it for legal, tax, accounting, dispute resolution or security reasons.
Two categories are treated differently on purpose. Consent evidence for text messages is kept for as long as we operate the messaging program and for a reasonable period afterwards, because it is the proof that we were permitted to message you. Suppression records, meaning the record that a number has opted out, are kept indefinitely so that the opt out is never lost.
9. Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date
- Delete information, where we are not required to keep it
- Stop sending you marketing communications
You can also update your own details in the customer portal where you have an account, manage your text message preferences on our SMS page, and opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
These are requests we will honour to the extent applicable law requires or permits. Privacy rights differ depending on where you live, and some information must be retained even after a deletion request, for example transaction records we are required to keep and suppression records that stop us from messaging you again.
To make a request, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We may need to verify who you are before we act, so that we do not disclose your information to somebody else.
10. Children
Our online services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without appropriate parental authorisation.
We do cut children's hair. Where a child is a client, the appointment and service information is provided by and associated with the parent or guardian who books it. Clients under 16 require parental consent for services.
If you believe a child has given us information online without authorisation, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third party services
Some parts of what we offer are provided by other companies. Booking, payment, messaging, delivery and authentication providers each operate under their own privacy policies and their own terms.
When you follow a link to one of those services, or enter details directly into one of them, that company's privacy practices apply to what you give them. We encourage you to read the policies of any service you use.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires it. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
If we make a change that materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to tell you, which may include a notice on our website or a direct message.
